Thank you for choosing to submit an abstract for the ICBM-5. Contributions are invited on all aspects of microbiology related to anaerobic biogas and fermentation systems, including but not limited to the following topics:
Microbial Ecology: Microbial interactions, microbial ecology, synthetic microbiology, omics, computational approaches.
Microbial Physiology and Genetics: Physiological and genetic characteristics of microorganisms in anaerobic environments.
Biotransformation: Mechanisms for element cycling, inhibition, trace metals, bioenergetics, modelling.
Biorefinery: Carboxylate production, biogas upgradation.
Bioprocesses: Novel reactors, engineered systems
Bioaugmentation: Biological strategies to improve anaerobic system performance.
Biological Pre-treatments: Microorganisms and enzymatic activities.
These instructions will ensure we have everything required so your paper can move through peer review, production and publication smoothly.
Please take the time to read and follow them as closely as possible.
By submitting your abstract, you agree for copyright to be assigned to publication in the Abstract Book.
Structure: Title, Authors, Abstract (Optional Example: Introduction/Purpose, Methodology, Results & Conclusion).
Format: Papers must be submitted online and the text should appear in 12-point Times New Roman.
Abstract: Abstracts should not normally be longer than 400 words. You can use a maximum of 4 Keywords and please note that no pictures, tables or figures are allowed.
