Presentation
Presenters must provide their presentations on a USB memory stick.
The presentation file must be submitted in either pptx or PDF format.
A technician will upload each presentation in the conference room 15 minutes prior to the session start time. (Please be punctual.)
PowerPoint size 16:9 is mandatory.
Briefing
A speaker's meeting with the session chair will be held in the conference room 15 minutes before the start of each session. This is the only opportunity for the chair, the technician, and other session speakers to discuss last-minute details. Attendance is mandatory.
Duration & Setup
The total time allotted for each presentation is 15 minutes.
Each presentation should be a maximum of 12 minutes long, allowing for 3 minutes of discussion at the end of a session.
Presenters must not exceed the allotted presentation time.
The chair is asked to strictly manage time.
Language
The conference’s language is English.
Simultaneous translation facilities will not be provided.
Technical Facilities
The conference room contains the following equipment:
Speaker’s microphone
Audience microphones
Hand microphones for the chair
Laptop for PowerPoint presentations
Size and Orientation:
The required orientation for posters is portrait. Please use A1 size if possible; A0 is also acceptable.
Please ensure your poster fits these specifications to avoid any display issues.
Poster ID:
The conference organizers will place a Poster ID number at the top of your assigned display board.
Mounting and Materials:
Drawing pins will be provided at the registration desk for attaching your poster to the display board.
Ensure your poster is printed and ready for display before arriving at the conference hall.
No printing facilities will be available on-site.
Removal of Posters:
All posters must be removed by the end of the designated poster session day.
Any posters left on the boards after this time may be discarded.
Please be considerate and remove your poster promptly to allow for setup for other sessions.
Additional Considerations:
Content: Ensure your poster clearly and concisely communicates your research.
Design: Use high-quality images and legible fonts for optimal visibility.
Proofreading: Carefully proofread your poster for any errors before printing.
If you prefer that delegates not record your poster, please display a sign indicating this.
